Ben has been playing guitar for 26 years. Showing an early interest, he began private tuition at 8 years old. At music college he met like minded people and began to work in bands. An interest in jazz followed and he formed a band that enjoyed gigging on the local scene. Today, he can be found playing in bars, pubs and restaurants or for private functions around Bournemouth and surrounding areas as part of Sharp 9 Duo, a trio, a larger funk based band or by himself as a solo artist. Having gained valuable experience in various different settings such as weddings, private parties, large corporate events and his teaching work he can often be called upon to session with different bands. He is also a consultant guitar teacher at Absolute Music in Poole, Dorset.
